About Kevin T. Corcoran, Esq.

The managing partner, Kevin T. Corcoran, has a broad and diverse background in the law. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and in New York, Mr. Corcoran has had experience in almost every aspect of practice in Residential Mortgage Banking, Finance, Real Property Law, Business, Contract and Estate Law over the past 39 years. He possesses a unique understanding of the businesses of real estate, mortgage banking and title insurance including the State and Federal Laws that govern these industries.

Early in his career, Kevin practiced for 3 years as in-house General Counsel and rose to Chief Operating Officer for a FNMA/FHLMC mortgage banking/servicing operation, giving him a unique insight into the entire industry from Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Delivery, Servicing and Mortgage Backed Securities. This experience gives him the ability to understand the pressures and pitfalls facing the Managers and Directors of Real Estate Brokers, Agents, Banks and Lender Professionals each day and counsel them accordingly.

Kevin T. Corcoran has taught Mortgage Basics for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education of the New Jersey State Bar Association and taught The Business of Mortgage Banking at the licensing class for the Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey. He currently holds Instructor Licenses for Continuing Education for Real Estate Agents and Title Producers. He authored Continuing Education classes in both and is a speaker and presenter at conferences and Professional Development classes in New Jersey and New York. He is consulted on the NAR Settlement and the effects on the realtor, title and mortgage banking industries.

His main practice now is providing exceptional and passionate representation of Lenders, Title Agents, Realtors, Buyers and Sellers of real estate in NJ and NY. He also serves those Clients in need of Estate Planning or Estate Administration, drawing experience from his legal and life experiences so as to best service his Clients.
